Your Klout score defines how you interact with your social media community…did you know this?
First off, for those of you who do not know what Klout is or what it represents, let’s explore the definition of Klout…
According to Klout.com, Klout measures influence online using data from your social networks. Anywhere you have an online presence, you have the opportunity to influence people by creating or sharing content that inspires actions such as likes, retweets, comments and more. The more engagement your posts receive, the more influential you are. Klout uses this information to provide you a Klout Score that measures your overall influence.
Now that you know what Klout means, what does the Klout score do for you? Let me explain.

It’s much like your expertise in your field that influences others and that’s how you create your following, thereby increasing your Klout score. To me, it’s like being famous. So why should you really care about your Klout score?
As it pertains to marketing your business, the more influence you have on your social media community, the more trust they have in your business and your expertise. Bottom line is your Klout score will drive more traffic to your website or blog and potentially convert visitors to clients. It’s yet another way to market your business and increase your income!
